Music is one of many avenues to liberation, self-expression, and collaboration . . . values that we espouse deeply as a religious community. Many of our services feature choral music of some kind, sometimes instrumental music, and almost always congregational singing. We embrace both ancient and modern voices, classical and contemporary styles.
"Music is a vital part of worship and community life at Community of Faith UCC. The Chancel Choir is really something special."
Director of Music
We're a medium-sized congregation with a choir that would make many large congregations jealous. Under the direction of Jennifer Trakas, with accompaniment by Bryan Bird, the Chancel Choir shares their ministry of music during Sunday worship services and currently includes about 30 people with diverse levels of experience. In the summer months, various members of the congregation share their musical gifts as soloists, instrumentalists, or in small ensembles.

Performed by the Community of Faith Handbell Choir
The handbell choir is directed by Robert Ebert. It is composed of members of the congregation as well as members of the choir who share their music ministry through playing hand bells and chimes.
